Description

Georges Seurat (1859–1891) was a pioneering French Post-Impressionist painter who founded Neo-Impressionism and Pointillism. Seurat developed a scientific, systematic approach to painting based on color optics and divisionism, using tiny dots of complementary colors to create radiant visual fields (exemplified by β€˜A Sunday on La Grande Jatte’).
