Description

Iannis Xenakis (1922–2001) was a Greek-French composer, music theorist, and architect. A major pioneer of electronic and stochastic music, Xenakis integrated architectural geometry, probability theory, and computer systems into music, creating the UPIC graphic tablet system to synthesize sound directly from drawn visual forms.
