Description

Jean (Hans) Arp (1886–1966) was a German-French sculptor, painter, and poet who was a founding member of the Dada movement in Zurich. Arp pioneered the use of chance operations in visual art, famously creating collages by tearing paper, dropping the fragments onto a surface, and pasting them where they fell.
