Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler (1571–1630) was a German astronomer, mathematician, and natural philosopher who discovered the laws of planetary motion. Kepler sought to unite mathematical geometry, astronomy, and musical harmony, translating orbital velocities into acoustic ratios in ‘Harmonices Mundi’.
