Description
John D. Hobby is an American computer scientist and mathematician who worked closely with Donald Knuth at Stanford. Hobby developed the algorithm used in METAFONT and MetaPost for generating aesthetically smooth, natural spline curves through discrete control points without undesirable inflection loops.
